Head of chassis

Samuel Brauer
Samuel Brauer is a 22 year old Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering student, now on his fifth term and also the team leader for chassis this year.

When we find him and receive a little bit of his time, they had just been going over the inventory to determine what their budget should be. His vision for this year is of course to make a frame that will hold up and be as good as it can get. The important thing is to make sure it is rigid so it will perform well, especially going into curves. The plan to make this happen include many things, for example reconstruct the engine mount, enhance and strengthen some of the more general attachments, and stabilize the steering.

At the end they will perform a test to see if they fulfill all the requirements for the crumple zone. We wish them good luck!
